I'm itching to RIDE!!!

It's been so long since I was last out there I don't remember what it cost.

If you are coming north on 45, take the 1488 exit, go under 1488 and as you make the right turn to go west on 1488 you will see a turn off to the left (north) that goes down to the San Jacinto River. Take this road and follow it around to the entrance to the park.

Hey Roboto65, there's someone here in the Austin area that put a KLX650r front end on his KLR. I can't remember who it is, it was revealed to us at a Billy's Lunch get together about 4 months ago. Maybe someone else here on the forum will produce a name. Anyway, if you are going to have to replace the tubes, look for a salvage KLX650 for the tubes, wheels, triple clamps and so forth. Just a thought. Enjoy. Sam

Well the shifter got me LOL had a great time even though the KLR was tired and needed a nap :eek2: need to go back soon once I get her fixed. I need to find a smaller bike for playing there. But had a good time anyway.

It was a great day to be out getting dirty. I wish I could have rode longer but family needs sometimes alter riding plans.

So, when are we doing it again?

I'll try to get the video edited and uploaded in the next day or two.

Here's the helmet cam videos. I've never been a fan of 99% of the helmet cam videos and these are within the 99%.

Next time I'll try to remember to tilt the camera back a little to compensate for the angle I wear the helmet at. When I checked it before we rode I thought it looked to be in the right spot and it would have been if I didn't pull the chin bar down a little below parallel with the ground.
