I've been riding about 11 years now and grew up in East TN. In fact, I used to live about 45 minutes from Deal's Gap.

Over the years I have ridden many bikes of my fathers and have owned 5 bikes myself.

Lets see:

Dad's bikes (that might as well have been mine :trust:)
1986 Honda Shadow 1100
1998 Suzuki Savage 650
1996 Honda Magna 750
1998 Kawasaki Concours

My bikes:
2000 Triumph Sprint ST - SOLD
2003 Honda ST1300 - SOLD
1997 Suzuki RM80 - SOLD
2001 Kawasaki KX250 - SOLD
2003 Aprilia Falco - ITS NOT GOING ANYWHERE :rider:

The Aprilia is my choice for two wheel duty. I liked it when I bought it, but had know idea I would fall in love with it.

The Italian bird has had the following mods performed:
-Derestricted air box
-EVO air filter
-EVO plug wires
-Aprilia Racing carbon pipes and chip
-Ferodo brake pads (front and rear)
-Tri-Metal rear sprocket (+2 teeth)
-RSVR rear shock (white spring)
-RSVR swingarm transplant
-Carbon hugger
-Fender elimination
-turn signals integrated into tail lights
-Red Stripes on wheels (good for 3hp)

Here are a few pics:

Yes, very nice. Excellent photos, too.

Now, where do you stow the Pit Bull on the bike when you go riding? :-P

Hi, Ryan!

Good to see that you've got the extra power that red stripes on the tires can provide. Not everyone knows about that. But I see that you didn't mention anything about running synthetic air in the tires themselves. Tsk, tsk--that's good for another 4-5hp!!

An aside: I lived in Elizabethton for many years (near Johnson City). I still love East TN, but haven't been back there to ride for many moons. Might have to make a trip up to catch a UT game this fall... (UT= University of TENNESSEE...go Vols! )

Nice pics. Do you race much? They have a Lonestar event at TWS today.

Unfortunately, I have never raced. I have attended tracks days but no racing. I'm hoping to start racing sometime in the very near future. Next year maybe? Fingers are crossed.

Ryan, that is one of the toughest sounding motorcycles I have ever heard!
I'm not even "into" sport bikes, but this one is super cool.
