Any fall camping trips planned yet? The weather will be cooling down soon and it is time to start discussing some dates. Might need to talk to BeemerBob since he has already got an early start.

isn't there a group scheduled to camp @ CLEBURNE STATE PARK, this weekend?

K-P'S MEET, GREET & EAT W/ A SIDE OF RIDE :thumb:

always enjoy the camp outs that include FOOD :eat:

This whole month Im working overtime. I'm also waiting for the temps to fall back into the 70s. I want to do a few trips out to hill country and do some camping.

Currently in Bandera...temps in low 70's, light rain this morning, skies clearing now...

Don't wait too long!

My favorite camping season! My schedule so far is:

9/18-21 Rich Mountain Rendezvous, Mena, AR

10/3-5 Guzzi Riders in Texas (GRIT) Rally, Lindale, TX

10/10-12 Annual Guzzi Campout/Rally, Talimina State Park, Talihina, OK

Non-Moto Guzzi riders are very welcome at the Guzzi events and the camping locations are excellent. The Lindale, TX event is held at a (pretty amazing) private campground built and owned by the Lindale American Legion Post.

I've really been wanting to do some camping with the bike and tent instead of my camper, but the fiancé won't go. However, she may be starting a new program at work in November, which will leave her without vacation for the remainder of this year and next. So I'm thinking now is my chance! I'm considering trading my Speed Triple for a Tiger 800XC or perhaps my much less expensive FZ1 for a much less expensive adventure bike of some kind and making some camping trips! I'm looking forward to cooler temps too.

I am heading that way Wednesday morning sometime. Pulling my Bushtec trailer with the Strom. What a concept. Glad they don't require early registration. Hope to see you there. ( or on the road going there.) HB

I am leaving Wednesday morning to hunt down Tom Chaney in the Indian Nations.

Ron, I brought glow in the dark rope and stakes to mark your spot. Hopefully under a big shade tree. "Come on down. "

Indian Nations campers, I just got this note from Rally HQ:

•Bring Quarters- the showers in our campground require quarters. There are free showers in the park, but it's a hike.

Glub - Glub...
