On an interesting note, the song “You're so Vain” with “with clouds in my coffee" as a refrain actually features Mick Jagger of Rolling Stone fame as the background vocalist in the song written by Carly Simon. If you listen closely, you can hear him say “You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you”...

With so many metaphorical ideas, the concept of “clouds” are a favorite theme for many songwriters and poets. White puffy clouds can represent peacefulness and beauty or even elation as in “being on cloud nine” or “having your head up in the clouds”....or on the other side of the spectrum, darker clouds can represent gloominess, danger, sadness or being in some sort of turmoil. Somewhere in the middle can be like being in a dream state, mental fogginess or a feeling of uncertainty as you alluded to.

Now back to posting more pictures of cloud "computing" and songs too. <lol>

Good catch!

In the video, I think you will see the Austin guitar wiz Eric Johnson when he was a young dude playing a starburst Les Paul and I think Reese Wynans, who was the keyboard player for Stevie Ray Vaughn was on the video as well.
