The Dynamic Duo at the Alamo - Part 2

Saturday I had a long bike ride and when I was finished well after lunch I finally got around to checking my messages. Low and behold, Richard (TrailBoss) had left a "...call me" message and I learned I was invited to run down to San Antonio later that evening to hook up with Tricepilot (Bob) and head over to the Riverwalk/Alamo for some night shooting and dinner.

All I can say is, San Antonio on a beautiful Saturday evening is an awesome place to be. Not only is the people watching stellar, but the place is literally alive and electric with activity.

After a bit of drinking, some shooting, dinner and more shooting, Richard and I dropped Bob off at Casa Tricepilot and we headed home. A wonderful evening with friends indeed.

Here's a couple I came away with. The full gallery can be found HERE. All shot with the (D700 & 50mm/1.4)

Scott,

Great shots, as usual. I particularly like the composition you chose for picture 2 (the one with the couple smoking on the steps). Including the street with water puddles makes that photo stand out for me.

Thanks..... Shooting that nifty-fifty is certainly work in the composition department having to zoom with your feet. I saw the puddles and reflections and figured I could make it happen.

Really enjoyed your slideshow, Scott. I like them all! The 50 is treating you well and pulling some really great colors.
