What is the cheapest highway peg option?

I really need to put highway pegs on my Bandit for my long trips but I don't have the money to go the engine guard option. So, what is the cheapest way of adding highway pegs that is safe?

I bought these on Amazon.com and secured them (with washers/bolts/locktite) into the threaded holes (which have plastic covers on them) in the frame.
