New member checking in

Hello .

New member to the forum checking in . As the name implies I am getting back into riding after a very long absence ( 15 yrs ish ) .

Learned to ride on a Vespa Piaggo 125 cc then upgraded to a Kawasaki 750 and then onto a 83 Venture Royal ( full touring and parade dress )star 1200cc .

Just picked up a 2007 Vstar 650 custom and loving every minute of ride time... though the rain storm that got me last week was a pain in the chest . And I realized I desperately need a windshield for anything over 70mph.

Welcome! Yay, another Star rider. Windshields are very necessary, IMHO!

Re: New member checking in

from Montgomery, birthplace of the Texas flag.

FYI: a group is forming to ride from Conroe to the pie run in Edom at the end of the month. Maybe you could get in on the action if you're available!

Re: New member checking in

If you're in the far north area of Houston, we have Montgomery Bike Night on Thursdays. Sometimes we eat in Conroe, sometimes in Montgomery-proper. Oh! And on occasion we head to Willis/Huntsville to eat with the Huntsville gang. We usually like to order our dinner around 7, so come a bit early & grab a seat!
