Clif Notes please.... how many are there left? I'm amazed at how you all have continued to chip away at this. What a feat!

Are you all keeping track of the miles ridden to grab these?

Most of mine I pick up while out on other rides. I do make some special runs to pick up roads sometimes. Never kept a record of how many miles on those though. Probably somewhere between 10,000 and 15,000.

Scott, the last FM is 3551, but a lot of the 3500s are vacant. I'd say we have about 120 real roads left. I've kept a pretty accurate count of my mileage and it's approaching 70,000 since 2008. That sounds like a lot, but I did over 1000 miles this weekend riding up to Lake Meredith to get 3395 and a couple others along the way. It's easy to pile up the miles in West Texas and the Panhandle.

Lots of cancelled roads this group and at least one that hasn't been marked as a FM. There are also a couple listed as "Not constructed for entire route" which may not exist either.

FARM TO MARKET ROAD NO. 3477

Minute Order 084992, dated 09/24/1986; Adm. Ltr. 001-1987, dated 01/22/1987

From US 290 southeast of Fredericksburg, westward and northward approx. 4.7 miles to US 87, northwest of Fredericksburg. (Gillespie County) New Designation.
 
Can't find this one either.

URBAN ROAD NO. 3487

Minute Order 105686, dated 06/27/1995; DesLtr 03-1995, dated 06/30/1995

From UR 471 southeastward to IH 410, a distance of approx. 3.290 miles. (Bexar County) New Designation.
 
I found this one, the only sign is when you exit FM 78 southbound into Converse just after you cross under SL 1604.

URBAN ROAD NO. 3502

From UR 1516 northeastward to UR 78, a distance of approx. 0.701 mile. (Bexar County) New Designation.

I think I've done 3000 miles getting mine but those miles were also part of just out riding mostly. A couple of 300 mile days to get three or four roads

I was home this weekend but forgot to send you a list of my 3500 roads. Will try to remember next time I am home.
 
I made an effort to try and locate the missing roads on mapquest or google maps and this is what I came up with.

Can’t find
3508 (Blanco) I've ridden for this one and can't find it. The state mileage makes Old Spicewood Road the most likely candidate.
3515 (Webb) No likely suspects
3526 (Frio) only .1 mile of a county road designated as a FM?
3550 (Cameron) a section of former FM 1419 re-designated as FM 3550

Need better directions
3461 (Hidalgo) - Nolana Loop between McCollum and Longoria Roads in McAllen.
3462 (Cameron) - San Jose Ranch Road
3479 (Tarrant) – Harmon Road from BU 287 to US 287 in Fort Worth
3486 (Kaufman) - Along former County Rd. 322 (constructed started in July 2016)
3488 (Polk) - Plant Road one mile north of US 287 on US 59.
3498 (Atascosa) – School Drive from SL 282 to FM 1470 in Poteet
3502 (Bexar) – North Seguin Road from FM 78 to Gibbs Sprawl Road in Converse
3513 (Hardin) - From Mitchell Rd. In Lumberton, .1 mile east of US 69/US287.
3537 (Denton) – Main Street in Frisco between SH 289 and FM 902

I can grab 3410(Goliad), but not until 3/10. If someone else can get it before then, don't wait on me.:rider:
