Custom Made Heated Gear

* * SOLD! * * Dianese Extreme Foul Weather Gloves

* * SOLD! * * :trust:
I have been a fan of the Dainese Jerico since its introduction. I just stumbled onto a similar version of this extreme foul weather glove on ebay across the pond. Its primary construction is of an abrasion resistant textile Dainese calls Stone PU. Carbon knuckle and leather palm round the exterior. There's Primaloft insulation too but what's unique is the Gore Tex gaiter under the gauntlet. Any water that runs down the sleeves into the gauntlets is routed out two eyelets on the underside. EXTREME! But don't get too excited - these are MINE! :trust: Just remember I can add heat to virtually any winter glove.

Revzilla has the Jerico evo size 2XL on closeout for $164.95 ! ! DEAL ! If you're XL send these to me for heat treatment.

It is with a heavy heart I post this. :tears: I absolutely love these Dainese gloves - possibly the warmest ones ever. I wanted so much to wear them but after a quick test ride I had to come to the realization my fingers are just too long.

So if you wear an American size Large and you don't have longer than average digits, these gloves can be yours for $200 + $10 shipping. Higher wattage, Gore Tex with gauntlet gaiters, Primaloft, carbon knuckles - there is simply NOTHING like them on the market at any price.

** S O L D ** Gordon's Heated Gloves $140

* * SOLD! * * :trust:
I was so glad to learn the original Gerbing family was back in business I actually bought a pair of "Gordon's" deerskin gloves. Gordon Gerbing invented heated motorcycle gear back in the 70's. The workmanship of the Churchill Glove company is impeccable, the deerskin is very supple which makes the gloves insanely comfortable. But alas, they're not "mine" and I have no need for them. I have worn them only a handful of times. I have carried them as backups which I haven't needed. They are size XL and cut for average length fingers. I normally wear a L but I have longer than average fingers. These gloves retail for $245 but I'll let this pair go for $140. :trust:

In Rochester Mn at the Mayo clinic for a week and have not seen or heard a bike since I have been in town. So far the high temp was 24 yesterday and a couple or so days ago the high was -3.

Have you tried to sell your heated goodies on advrider? Might get more attention than twtex.

Yes, thanks. I have a similar thread going on adv. I have a Facebook page too. So far just about all my business is by word of mouth. I always appreciate a good word.

EBAY DEAL ALERT!

The ReV'it! Taurus replaced the Alaska as the brand's flagship foul weather glove. And it has a Gore Tex gauntlet gaiter to prevent water running down the sleeve from getting into the glove. The Taurus retails for $249. This listing has them for $186!

Remember to order one size up and send them to me for heat. There's no heated glove on the market at any price anywhere near this extreme.

CLEARANCE SALE!

I'm basically giving these gloves away at $105 + $10 shipping.
I normally charge $100 to add heat to YOUR gloves.
These gently used Cabela's gloves are made of quality leather.
The fit is roomy but I'm calling them Large due to finger length.
But if you're an XL with short thick fingers these gloves are for you.
You'd be hard pressed to get this much glove for short money.
And they'll be warmer than any heated glove you've ever worn or your money back. :trust:
Here's my latest offering:
20161128_114557-1-L.jpg

Lightly used Cabela's winter motorcycle gloves.
All leather, full draw string gauntlet
100 gram Thinsulate
Genuine Gore Tex
Phenix integrated carbon fiber heat

Thanks to Hurricane Harvey I'll be bikeless for a while. Before mucking out the house after 7 feet of flood water took all my free time I had gotten a pretty good head start building heated gloves for this winter. Thank goodness they were upstairs high and dry and totally unscathed. All are new with tags, include 100% leather exterior, Primaloft insulation, Gore Tex waterproof layer, Phenix carbon fiber heat and shipping to the lower 48.

Left: Olympia 4102 WeatherKing. (Size XL) Good cowhide & huge gauntlets. The WeatherKing is possibly the best winter glove value out there. $210

Center: Original Held Freezer. (two pair size L) Incredibly supple leather means easy break-in, suprising lightweight feel and tactile sensation for such a well insulated glove. $200

Right: Held Freezer II (size L) Among the most robust and impeccably crafted gloves I've seen. They might be the warmest too. And with heat they'll laugh at single digit temperatures. I paid more to get them but they're well worth it. $260

Give me a shout if interested. 409-363-1417

UPDATE

The XL WeatherKing's sold almost immediately. They are the flagship of the current Olympia line and I can have a pair ready in less than 2 weeks. Just let me know your size.

The Freezer II's just sold also. That might have been the last pair in captivity. I kinda hated to see them go. I will keep trolling the web as well as dealer stock for more Freezer ll's. Awesome gloves!

UPDATE:

I'm still operating out of our alternate location, Mom's house. (Screw you Harvey!) But I'm happy to report this is the busiest heated glove season ever. I can order new Olympia WeatherKings, add heat and have them on your hands in about 10 days. The total is $210 shipped within the US.

Here's some recent reviews:
review%20keith%20wells%201.png

review%20jerry%20stevens-M.jpg

Then there's the math:
The average heated glove reads around 13 ohms at the plug. Some manufacturers make adhoc wattage claims - but ohms don't lie.

13.8v / 13 ohms = 1.06 amps
13.8v x 1.06 amps = 14.64 watts

My sealed carbon fiber heating elements read around 9.3 ohms.

13.8v / 9.3 ohms = 1.48 amps
13.8v x 1.48 amps = 20.47 watts
