I did not know Don did a Cross Country race up there on his weekend too. :ponder: I have been asked many times why I don't come on up and hang as I knew most of the crowd since the beginning of MX in Houston in the early 70's. I promised the lord after a bad fall at RIO a few years ago that I would never ride or race on another MX track again, but I never said anything about woods racing. Looks like I'm gonna have a talk with the Misses when I get home.:rider::rider:

I'm thinking about it. Not sure of rules. Very different from torcs.

Way too young for that.

maybe in years but not wear in tear. I might do select stuff but I'm through chasing points.

Selling the 250 so for now I won't even have a race type bike. The EXC is d/s.

Some kind of ruts! lol

I have seen a few ruts like that in SHNF. I don't know that I would want to abuse my old bike once I finish its restoration. It has to many parts that can not be easily replaced.

I would be interested in riding the east side on Saturday at 9:00am if I can find some riders and the weather allows it.

I don't think there is a post vintage or evo class that your 1992 would qualify for anyway.

Here is the official statement:

The Trail Riders of Houston Caney Creek Enduro scheduled for April 26th is canceled. Unfortunately, the weather worked against us making it impossible to spend the time needed to prepare for a quality event. TRH will begin issuing refunds at this time to those that pre-entered. Thank you to the riders that pre-entered Caney Creek and understand that we will be back on the TSCEC schedule in the Fall of 2015. Date to be determined. Check TRH Website!

CANEY CREEK ENDURO HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!!

Wife and I made a trip to the Shreveport area last weekend and everywhere in E TX and W LA is basically flooded. From the BMT-PT Arthur area up was beyond saturated. Going to take a while to dry up.

We rode out there 3 maybe 4 weeks ago from the East Side Trail head. The Zebra trail had some serious mud holes. I can not imagine it has improved with all the rain we are having up here.
