Houston Supercross - 2015

I finally sat down and went through my SX pictures from last weekend. I trashed many pictures, but held on to some that I like. I wasn't going for wheel spin, these guys move around way too much to try to get a sharp shot at a low shutter speed. A few of my favorites are below. The rest can be found here: CLICKY

Why am I just seeing this?

What a nice body of work.... And I bet it WAS work to get those captures. I'm finally figuring out 'how' you do this. It's been a long road, but I'm getting there! Thanks for sharing.

And the end of an era as they decided to drop Houston for 2016 a race that has been
on the calendar since the first supercross series started.

Yep, first MX was taken away with Freestone, now SX. Huge bummer.

Dude, these are great! Those jump landing shots make my back hurt with the suspension all bottomed out like that.

How on earth I missed this post from April is beyond me. The wide angle of the Astrodome is a view I fear future generations will not see. Thanks for sharing these.

Heck no! I LOVE seeing what you post. Thats what makes this section fun

I don't know about everyone else, but when I hit TWT (likely daily), I just hit the "unread posts" link on the top right. Seems I miss some threads doing it this way expecially if I am off of here for a couple of days.

I'm a bit different. I go straight to the Photog section and look at any new posts there. Then I may poke around elsewhere.

Did we ever get any explanations on why Houston SX was dropped for 2016?

My guess: attendance.

Hmm, did Dallas make the cut? They haven't always had it up there, so maybe attendance was better? Would be a real shame if Texas didn't get a single 2016 race.
