Ladies & Gentlemen, I have a friend coming round tonight to change the fork seals on his 2007 Suzuki DR650, but he doesn't have a service manual for this bike. I have no issue disassembling and reassembling the forks with new seals, but I have no idea what is the correct oil quantity or level for the forks. Can anyone tell me does Suzuki measure the oil level or just add a fixed quantity of fork oil? Can you tell me what the correct quantity or level is?

Many thanks

Gary

Just did mine and I got this online

Manual says 565 ml (19 US ounces) of 10# fork oil per leg.
Fork oil height is 6.5" from the top with fork compressed and spring removed.

Many thanks James, I found the same info on the WEB so its good to have you confirm it.. :trust:

Regards Gary
