For sale is a really nice dual sport motorcycle that is as at home commuting to work as it is thumping the backroads.

That is a nicely farkled/sorted scooter. Mitch showered a lot of love onto her. The rack is more impressive in person. GLWS Mitch.

Re: [FS] - 2012 Honda XR650L

The XRL was a solid foundation when I got it from a TWT inmate.
I replaced and added stuff to make it mo better.

If you are in the market, don't be afraid to make an offer.

Since retirement, my focus has shifted somewhat. I now have the time to take a leisurely trip and not have to rush.

The KTM world opens more doors to me than the proven XRL.
I don't need as much of a roadworthy dual sport and it's just as reliable.

I read a lot of dribble about the recommended maintenance schedule being a deal breaker. KTM expects it's users to race these bikes. The attention to detail found in the bike's build says that. Doug and I have chatted at length about that.

If one races, then yes maintenance intervals need to be short to keep the bike alive. That was true when I raced WtoW in a Firebird. But if used by an old, slow geezer, the maintenance intervals are no different than the XRL.

One has to be smart and not buy into all the interweb BS. You wind up settling for a Yugo instead.

Thanks for the inquiry, but yes, it is sold.

I edited the first post to reflect that.
