Hi all, my name is Lucas, I just moved to DFW (Plano) from Oregon a few weeks ago for work. I've been riding for about 8 years on mostly sportbikes, but made the switch to ADV last year and haven't looked back. Current bike is a 2015 Super Tenere and I can't say enough good things.

Looking forward to meeting some local riders soon, I've spent a good amount of time exploring the pseudo-rural area NE of where I'm at. Definitely a change from Oregon!

Welcome! I look forward to hopefully meeting you. I'm currently in Austin at the moment but my wife and I are thinking about moving back to DFW to be closer to family. Lots of really great people in on TWT.

Now for the disappointing part. Be prepared to ride 100 miles before you find anything interesting. And when I say interesting I'm not talking Northeast interesting. Ride another 100 to 200 miles and you'll feel better.

But look at the bright side. You won't be bogged down carrying all that rain gear anymore. :mrgreen:
