Had a great time yesterday on the 2016 Sooner Adventure Dualsport Ride in Warwick, Oklahoma. A group of five of us from Arlington Motorsports drove up Sat. night. A V Strom 1000, Triumph Tiger 800, Yamaha TW200, Suzuki DRZ400 and Honda XL250R.

It was a great time, met a couple of TWT riders, some crashes but no major damage or injuries. Got dirty, tired, ate a lot of red Oklahoma dust. All in all, it was a very good time.

My son Chris and I.

What part of Oklahoma?

ONLY five pics? :-P

*marking calendar for next year*

Scott, it was in Chandler/Warwick, just east of Okla City.

Regarding pics, I was next to last in the group, so I didnt get many breaks as the rest of the group took off each time I caught up. And I still havent learned to shoot pictures while riding.

And all my riding pictures would just show red dust.LOL

I logged 134.1 miles on my Yamaha WR.
We rode Coops single track twice, plus we cut thru SW500 and rode 30 minutes or so there.
Had a great lunch at Coops place.
I enjoyed seeing all his stuff collected from over the years (trophies, bikes, etc).
The ride was 90% very dusty dirt roads with some scary loose gravel.
I was sure glad to have my new WolfSnout. (No more reddirt boogers)
I left Bedford @445am, and arrived home @7pm.
It being Halloween and all, I feel like Charlie Brown when he said "I got a rock".
Tho I had a blast on the ride, I'm currently sitting at Caliber Collision waiting for a rent car.
I hit a deer around 515am Sunday morning while driving to Ok. Really tore up my little Mazda.

That is a good point. When I lead a ride and we wait for the tail end, I will frequently check to see if they want/need a break before I take off. Otherwise they never get a break and by the end of the day they are whooped!

I don't shoot and ride either. I've never even tried. I just try to keep my camera where I can get to it quickly when I do stop so I can get moving again without losing much time. That's real hard to do with anything other than a point & shoot.
