Hello all from North Texas (Plano area)

Just got back from a 290 mile run (with a few others) to The Shed in Edom, TX
Kinda hot today.

Been riding for 40 years. On my 4th Goldwing (and other bikes). Also own a Vulcan Classic 1500FI (pipes, chrome, leather...local cruising). But my Wing is my first love....after my wife.

My wife, Mari,e rides with me a lot. We went to Texas Hill Country with our happy hour/riding buddies a couple times this summer. Uvalde & Bandera. Did the 3's many times. Went ot Talihina, OK. 3 times. Also a yearly visit by the Dickweed MC group. We take over the town one weekend a year and do a lot of charity work for the town.

We enjoy riding in the country mostly. Less traffic & few stop lights.

I am also a member of Dickweed Motorcycle Club and run their web site (www.Dickweedmc.com).

I also run http://www.MotorcycleRiderDataBase.com and invite u to sign up (only in existence for about a month. But has been well accepted.. It also has a new forum, but this one seems more active and much morec mature.

I (we) look forward to meeting people from this board.

Well, I've not been on the site here that long, but wish you a wlecome too. Been thinking about going back to The Shed some time soon (the wife has never been & wants to try it).

As for the DWMC, ask Tommy to introduce you to me at the CCCAC TBR Pre-Ride party (I'm a planning committee member too). Alternatively, just look for the guy taking way too many pictures (maybe that rings a bell from last year or the year before ).

Tommy (Dickweed MC president) instigated the Shed trip this last Saturday. He's also on the forum at www.mcrdb.com as Bull (roadname). He sure can eat!
