Re: RIP Bruce Brown

Man that is bad news. I watch On Any Sunday a few times a year. I think it is my favorite motorcycle movie I own. Had to update to DVD when we got rid of the VHS copy if I remember right.

Alan kinda shocking there are not more comments on this. Great movie gonna try to watch it this week in Bruce's memory. Rest in peace brother Bruce.

Endless Summer wasn't bad either. Can't believe 80 years old, time fly's when you're having fun. Bruce, Steve. Malcolm though is still riding on earth.

Re: RIP Bruce Brown

I never saw OAS until *after* I started riding so it really didn't light a spark for me, but I did watch Endless Summer and I was very fired up about surfing. He was a great film maker and his son is continuing his legacy.

Re: RIP Bruce Brown

I 'met' Mr. Brown through Endless Summer when it played at one of the UT campus auditorium screenings that were commonplace when I was there in the early 70's (do they still have those?). Blew me away.

Didn't see OAS 'till much later, already a long-time street rider and never an off-roader, it still blew me away too.

Over the years I've managed to see most of his films ..... I'm glad of his work and saddened we've lost his talents.
