Yamaha XT250 Skid Plate

Gang, I was doing to very first oil change on my wife's XT250 and realized it doesn't have any type of factory skid plate at all, nothing, zip, nice wide spaces between the frame rails and the soft aluminum cases just waiting to be crushed in Colorado next week !!!

I don't know the accessories for this bike and so far the only option I have found is one from Rocky Mountain ATV from Ricochet

https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p...-Plate?v=13359

Does anybody have any recommendations for this bike?

Thanks in advance, Mike

Re: Yamaha XT250 Skid Plate

That looks as good as anything aluminum you are going to find. You should know it will make the bike much louder to the rider without some sort of sound dampning.
