Re: 88 Honda NX650
You need this bike Marko. With your attention to detail you would have a museum piece in short order and it would be easier than you think. The blemishes are truly minor and cosmetic only. And at 7K, its honestly barely broken in. Thrashed dirt bikes sell for double what I am asking for this bike. I totally, truly believe this bike will appreciate in value in the coming years if maintained properly. Several in the ADV rider world have encouraged me to just sit on it for a few years. But I am 67 and know I will not be riding much more. Some younger feller should be on this thing.

Re: 88 Honda NX650
Skid Plates can be a bit universal and usually use a pipe mount bracket to hold on to the down tubes in the cradle. If they dont have one specific to this bike I bet one for a 650L or another similar bike would work fine even if it took some minor modification to get it exact. Crash bars are a different deal, I would check with any NX650 forums out there on the net.
Good luck with the sale. I would love to own it, but would have to get rid of my Bandit 400 first.

Man, if I hadn't made that big, responsible credit card payment yesterday.... I wonder what the turn signals need.

Re: 88 Honda NX650
My bike would be a wonderful choice for an eager 12 yr old such as yourself. Price is negotiable a little, I have found a used little fishing boat that is waiting for me.

Re: 88 Honda NX650
Someone please make a reasonable offer. I just do not want to start riding this bike and risk damaging it. I drop stuff too often. And my 67 yr old back has already had enough surgery. Help!
