I need to sell my CB750.

https://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/mcy/d/1982-cb750f-super-sport/6767122835.html

I've enjoyed owning this relic, but times have changed and I need to move it into someone else's garage.

If interested, make me an offer.

100 payments of $35.00 sound good?:deal: I wish I could afford one I always wanted one of those when they came out new.

Ill give 100 payments of $37.

In all seriousness, I'd love to have it. But not in the cards.

That exact model and color was my first ever proper motorbike!! I got my driving license on a silver CB250N Superdream in 1981 and then 2 years later bought the 750 (second hand and rode it all around Europe with a very good friend). That looks in amazing condition, shame to sell it, but I hope you get a good price for it.

Beautiful CB, Mitch. Sorry you're having to part with it; good luck with the sale. I'd love to have it but I can't own them all.

"hope you wouldn't waste my time with a ridiculous offer.
But please note that I'm retired and may engage your ridiculous offer in order to waste your time."

Hilarious!!!

I think you can ride it instead of a goldwing.

Is there a single defect? Looks showroom!

Goldwings are pretty sweet for sure.

Read your c.l. ad . Let the scamming begin. Seems like your prepared

I also have an XR650L to sell.
Pretty cheap, too.

I'm taking pics today and posting the ad.

Mechanically ... it's as sound as I can make it.

Fires off if you breath on the start button.
Fixed all the oil leaks
Has a clutch rattle, but they all do.
Slowly replacing all the "wrong" parts with period correct parts (handlebars, mirrors, levers, controls, grips ...)

Cosmetically ... it has original paint and graphics.
Saying that, it is 38 years old and has 25,000 miles on it.
So it has nicks, scratches and chips.

I have a log of everything done to the bike since it was pulled from it's grave in 2000.
Registered as an antique and current till March of 2023.

I saw where you got it in 2k. Must have been a labor of love and it shows. I was in 8 or 9 th grade in 82. I remember seeing those bikes and thinking they were huge machines .

I need to reword the statement to be more clear.

I got the bike in 2016.
I have a log where the previous owners brought it out of retirement in 2000.

When I was 17, I borrowed a friend's 750 SS and took my wife (then girlfriend) on a date.
Up to that point, I had only ridden CL360s and 2 stroke dirt bikes.
I was in love with the comfortable seat and lack of vibration.

Started a string of purchases of 1L in-line 4s ... mostly Suzuki GSs.

Someone needs to pick this beauty up to take to breakfast like they do over in houston

Just a poor boy on a fixed income trying to make ends meet.
