I rode by a wreck on I20 west of Weatherford Saturday. The car was smashed into 3/4 of a car. I have no idea how the people inside faired but hopefully much better than the car. The car is designed to take a beating and keep the inhabitants alive and if possible uninjured.
Humanrace, you have never wrecked because you weren't injured in any of the drops. Riding a motorcycle, the rider's health is the most important criteria. You walked away, pain free, from every incident.

I've walked away from mine, but the insurance classified them as wrecks.

In 40 years of riding on the street I had one spill - going under one of the I-35 u-turn lanes my front wheel caught oil on the road and I went down. Some cosmetic damage and a bit of a scratch on the knee because I wasn't wearing padded pants that day. Lesson learned.
On the dirt, on the other hand, I have had more drops and falls than I can possibly remember or count. I learned too late and I am not any good at it! Trying to get better but even trying results in drops!
