Tortilla Flat

Road conditions are rough on the lower section but the scenery along the lake is great. Road conditions past the restaurant are much better, but more sweepers than twisties and no lake to look at.

I was actually referring to the dirt section between TF and 188; I got behind the 'Vette culb just east of the waterfall :shock:
 
We'll, that certainly surprises me. I wonder if they knew what they were in for?
I'm thinking no... My guess is that after driving the paved portion, someone probably though it would make a good "shortcut" to 188 for a return on 60 or Beeline. There were 7 or 8 of them, lol. My experience with GM sports cars suggests that each car had a plethora of squeaks and rattles after though :-P
