I always carry and light rain jacket and a trash bag or two. Most of the times when we take off in the morning by 9 or 930a I just wear a jersey. With the low humidity the temperature rises or drops fast and I don't feel the temp changes, unless wet.

It will rain, at least I hope it does, I love the nighttime rain. I don't like dust. Last year had had a 80%+ chance Wed-Fr but we never saw rain. It rained twice on Sunday with about a 30% chance... We only got really wet once last year on Monday afternoon, on Tuesday or so on a ride out Pumphouse Ridge, we waited under a tree for 10 minutes for a brief shower to pass.

My best ever day on a motorcycle (on SBDSMR #2) was riding up Alamo Peak in a pouring rain storm, the XR was was so cold and wet in would only idle with the choke on, a camera got ruined, what a memorable day!
