For those of you not from or new to Texas the full name of the Brazos river is Rio de los Brazos de dios ( The river of the arms of God. ) Named by a bunch of scared, lost, dehydrated Conquistadors. That coming upon the river, fell to their knees and prayed to God for saving them from dying of thirst.
