Well now that you mention it! :eek2:

Actually, it's sort of like shooting motorcycle races in that you want to position yourself to the inside of the apex. IF something goes wrong, energy/momentum 'should' take them to the outside or away from me. "should" being the operative word.
 
I loved bicycles and rode one every day. Until I discovered motorcycles. For the next 50 years I rode one of them almost every day :-) Exciting picture though! Make me think about how good we have it with protective gear for motorcycling.
