to be 'free', I think you have to choose from the images provided on the website.
But, still a good idea if you dont want your avatar pic

Talk to a lady friend here.
She has used Vista Print for her cards with custom image.
Said she thinks they went up in price to $10.00 for 250.

Well, let see if we can bring it back to life.

The question that has been in the back of my mind since this topic was started is do we use the global geocache site for this, or create our own targeted at motorcycles, meaning they tend to go places that most of the caches on the other site does not go to.

Which brings up another question, what about bugs, tags and such?
I looked at the ones for sale on the geocache site and nothing there really attracted my attention for what I perceive to fit, at least to my way of thinking for Mc geocaching.

At a minimum we need something like a business card (with avatar) to show what riders have been there, and some travel bugs.

Re: Moto Geocaching?

Kind of roundabout, but check out my thread on "Looking for a beater KLR for a Big Bend trip". There's a link to my ride report on another forum in which I found Meriden's cache and re-cached it in the Big Bend Ranch State Park. GPS co-ordinates and a photo clue are there.

No Sir. We hid cache #1 and so far no one has found it or even looked for it as far as I can tell.

I know where it is, but I don't see the giant palm trees shaped like a W.

Re: Moto Geocaching?

I have a bunch of people looking at me right now here at MDA because I pretty much cracked up laughing. I know the movie you got that from. Excellent....

Re: Moto Geocaching?

VistaPrint.com has good prices for business cards. You can upload your picture (avatar) and put whatever you want on it. As far as laminating, I don't think they offer that service. It you needed them laminated, Kinko's or Office Depot, etc. would do it. If you have access to a color printer, you can just make your own and print them on card stock and cut them. I may do that for MY6 and mine to see how they come out and if they'll work for the purpose of MotoGeocaching.

Re: Moto Geocaching?

So all the proof we need is a picture? Then it's done? Are you hiding more? Sorry, never done this before.

Re: Moto Geocaching?

Sure That'll work. That all depends on how much traction this gets I guess. Feel free to hide your own caches somewhere too.

Sure seems like we need a central place to list them.
They will get lost if just stick them willy-nilly in a thread.

Re: Moto Geocaching?

I found my first geocache for the Texas State Parks Geocache Challenge.

just a note, maybe should be listed on a separate thread for Texas State Parks Geocache Challenge.
Another game to add to TWT?
