Q could make it! Just pack a little extra gas, & don't let off the throttle.

The old boy is feeling his miles. I get major side eye when we climb north of 60 these days . Who needs extra fuel when you have no shame and a siphon?

Stay tuned. I may be conquering forts from the right corner of your exhaust pipe one way or another!

I know I'm being a pest but this bike has a 30.9 seat height and a big, honking motor. It could be shipped down or you could fly and ride, or snowshoe, whichever is more reliable.

Am I missing something? Did Aaron plan out a 600 mile day or something? I'm not sure why smaller bikes wouldn't be able to do this ride.

Re: Tour of Forts - March 23-25

If the bike can do the speed limit & you can make it 150 miles (even with spare gas cans), you can make this ride.

There are a good many high speed, well maintained county roads on the route. & there's a few more challenging roads (like Macabee) that are near the route & can be taken by those more adventurous.

Unless you are riding a 14 year old TW200 that has over 40K miles on it and a mild case of whooping cough, you can totally do this!

UncleBuck and I went there earlier this fall. Happened to be there during some sort of event. Your Fort is a nice little Fort with a small, but local and neat museum.
