Did a lunch ride and meet with my buddy Mitch. He has restored this incredible Triumph triple. To counter, I rode my 2016 Triumph 675 STRX. Both are superb machines. Also two highly motivated riders, on a clear and cool day in Katy, TX.


Carry on, and keep calm. God save the Queen. Rule Britannia!

That's a beautiful Trident. Got to love the British bikes, particularly those with the right side shift. My '71

Wow, gorgeous in blue and white! Yes, iconic bikes, no doubt. The old triple has a distinct signature roar. Pretty heavy and bigger than I can likely get up on that stand. Given that, an amazing machine to be sure. Love the old tickler carbs...
