Once again its time for the annual fish fry at Ron's house!

This year the date is Saturday May 19 th.. We'll be serving around 12 p.m.
If you are new to the forum please ask around as I have had this event for 6-7 years or so except 2017.
We will be having catfish, taters and hush puppies. Will have assorted cold drinks and canned ice tea.
If you would like to bring something for sides please do!!Desserts welcome also.
If needed, we will have large bowls and serving spoons available.
Please - no alcohol at this event.
Most folks know the location already but it's 116 Copeland Hill Rd. just out of Smithville,TX on FM 2571.
There will be a sign on Copeland Hill rd and Hwy 2571. 2 miles from Smithville. Ist drive on the right after turning on Copeland Hill rd. Signs will be out.
Please take care on the driveway as there may be some loose rocks.


No alcohol will be served at this event.
Plenty of shade so no one has to be hot.
This event gets bigger every year so come out and eat some fish!

A Friday and Sat night campout is being organized by JT.
It will be at Riverbend Park just outside Smithville TX.
stay tuned for more details.

Dang...Ron...as much as Id likta be there...(& I'll be in the general vacinity too)
Ive committed myself as a vendor for the big Texas District Gold Wing Rally in Brenham that weekend gwrra-tx.org

Hopefully ...there'll be some good eats there...I kno you'll have some!

I'll call Riverbend Park today to see if we can get some reservations for camp spot. It is a small park. If they already have an event scheduled that weekend we may not be able to get any spots. Post up if you are interested in camping one or both nights.

I'm planning on coming. BBQ event at my place the week before and then this, May is going to be a good month for eating.

Ok guys, I called Riverbend Park and they said they did not have any reservations for Friday and Saturday nights, the whole park is available. They said we can have 2 tents per site at $20 per site, so $10 per tent. I have Ron and Bob noted. If any one else wants to camp, I need to know by tomorrow or you will have to make your own reservations.

I will be adding the attendance list tonight.
Just like Ghost' campout this may be the smallest fish fry in the 7 yr history .
Guess that happens when ya miss a year of hosting.
Onward to the future!!!
