The weather report looks good for this Thursday. Are you up for letting me try my hand at a little Slacker Run?

We can start at the Bluff Dale Valero since it's a well known spot, and Roughnecks in Rio Vista is the destination.

Bluff Dale @ 10am

Route back roads to 51 and behind Fossil Rim Park to the backside of Rio Vista

Roughnecks about 11:45 to Noonish

:eat:

I've got family coming in Friday and we are the "hotel" for the weekend, so I'm trying to squeeze one in before then! Ha!

Does a slacker check his calendar prior to an affirmative response?

I plan on being at BD Valero at 1000 hours

So much for the slacker plan, y'all have a good ride. Try again next time

Wow ... quite the Bluff Dale turnout.
5 Boxer RT slackers.
Greg came from Austin!

The ride there was awesome.
Been on most of those roads, just not in that order.
Good choices, Stephan.

Followed Rod out of Rio Vista.
Great roads and was absolutely lost.

Rode (drove) through a fence building crew.
Must've been government labor as I noted
2 working on a stretch post
1 parts runner
3 supervisors and
1 lady with a guard dog making sure the two workers didn't make a run for it.
I kept the revs up high and blasted through.

Then we popped out onto a paved road, the sign said Glen Rose ==> and there I went.

Thanks folks had a great time.

Another awesome Slacker Ride today. Rod suggested I head back thru Waco with his friend Gene who lead me on a very nice collection of roads just west of Lake Whitney. I had 394 miles for the day. Slack'n ain't easy but it is rewarding.
