DAL/FTW: Father's Day Ride to Breakfast @ The Smokestack

Big Strommy is in the shop waiting on a voltage regulator or I'd be in. It would be a 300-mile day for me and the Gix has 200-mile limit.

You guys have fun.... dang it.

Looks like the final headcount is 19. Quite a group for a last minute ride!

Home safe! Thanks for the great ride this morning, guys. I had a blast and we were very fortunate to have have very decent weather.

Hope to do it again soon!

I notice that Aaron always turns his head when its picture time. He must be in witness protection, CIA covert ops or something ...

Had a good time and the turnout was great.

See all those clouds in the pics.... It was a good last minit decision for me ta go .... Never been to the Stack.... Dont kno why...it was tasty. Pretty large group for a Fathers Day ride. On the way up I took a nice lil Erath CR off of FM1188 just west of the big views near Morgan Mill. CR136 was jus twisty enuff...& with lots of hillyness for some sillyness if youre soo inclinated...

The ride bac was even nice...with the clouds still in abundance... Followed Duchess n Tim till Lakeview hit FM4...then split north to Ward Mtn/ Chestnut Mtn & down to Brazos & Salem...takin Live Oak Rd to Natty Flatt Rd then Light Rd into Lipan
Star Hollow/FM56 to Tolar FM2670 ...Coleman Ranch/Baker Rd to Paluxy 51....205 ...CR1004... (The crowd at Loco....was jus loco....waaay too many cars there!) that place has gotten even more popular
After the usual Somervell CRs & FM203...stopped in Walnut Springs to recharge for the last blast home

Niiice day

Alrighty... my turn for pics. What a nice way to start Father's day! :)

Great day to ride and great group to ride with on my first TWT ride. I'll try not to post duplicates of what's already been posted... but... there were some cool bikes there, soooo...

I enjoyed the pace and the company... even took my wing offroad with Mitch (mitchntx) on the way home. ;)

Thanks again to Wayne (pacman) for coordinating it. :)

Good group this morning. Good to fellowship with like minded friends new and old and the food was good as well, despite having margarine instead of real butter.:lol2: Thanks for putting this together Wayne!!:rider:

And I went the other direction, as I did not want to bring bad memories to TD on his first ride back on street, after my little encounter with that rock pillar. I did get Mom's motorhome running and the weather was nice for a ride thru One Wolfs neighborhood.

That was a great ride on Sunday, thanks to everyone for letting me go along.
I plan to join a few more rides in the future, since I have all this free time now!!!
