Only my 2nd podium this year in over 60. I'm near 65, all those "youngsters" making it hard, lol!

Did the race in Lockhart today. It was a blast. Don't know if I'll do it tomorrow, will see how much my body cries from the workout today.

Should see y'all there... provided the weather behaves.

hmmmm, weather could be an issue, but looks like a rain or shine event, not sure, but seems like it's on.

Raining buckets here early this morning. I'm several miles from the race but looking at the radar... seems to be pretty widespread.

Best call Gil or Mary or whoever before loading up for the trip.

It was obvious from midweek this was a rain or shine event! lol
And it did rain, as you say buckets, sort of, and the show did go on.

Practice was terrible, this property has several extremely steep drop ins and climb outs, very steep and with the rain very slick. I set at one for 10 minutes till all the bikes were cleared out to continue. I was getting intimidated :eek2:on this one, even got directions from the course marshall for returning to camp. Decided to carry on, finished practice and decided to race.

Glad I did, the course came around to be extremely awesome conditions, you just never know! :rider:

Very good TORCS course. Practice was VERY slick. Many up and downs with very slick climbs. A lot of bottlenecks. But dang the race was hero dirt as Gil Ramos promised.
Congrats to Larry Gustine on another win. Outlaw Trax riders in 1st and 2nd in over 60A. In practice I was pretty intimidated, almost quit. Mike Clifton had already gave me directions to camp. Lol.

Last one for year, I read somewhere you can come over on Saturday and ride practice for 10 bucks if interested. I would call/email to verify. I'm never there on Saturdays.

Might make you want to try it.

That Revs race may be the fastest TORCS course I have ever seen. Not real enthused with a few of those angled logs.

Was very fast, I finished 7th of 15 in over 60A, I don't do very fast very well, lol.:rofl:
