OEM Parts Resources

In the market for some OEM parts myself, so I was pleased to find this thread as I could not recall the name of the supplier I last used. After reading the posts I'm pretty sure it was CyclePartsNation.

However, I also seem to recall I took my "list" from the on-line guys down to Wild West Kawasaki here in Katy and they matched OR beat the price of everything I was looking for.

For Honda OEM I've used Western Honda, Service Honda, and Honda of East Toledo. All 3 have great prices, but usually one will beat the other two. Problem is, they aren't consistent (SH may be cheaper on one part and Western cheaper on another) so I usually check all 3. Honda Parts Direct is a good source also, but you have to pay tax here in Texas on top of shipping.

for a possible sticky:

A list of links for online microfiche for various manufacturer's OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts catalog. These have "exploded parts diagrams" for the various bike systems and show part numbers:

Bike Bandit (BMW, HD, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, Truimph, Yamaha, others)

Ron Ayers (Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha)

MR Cycle (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha)

D&S Cycle (Honda, Kawasaki)

...others...

Note: You don't see real micro-fiche (pronounced "fish") much anymore but they used to be page-sized transparent images that were used mainly by auto-parts houses and dealers for locating model-year parts. Each "fiche" contained hundreds of pages of small images that had to be magnified to view. There was a "micro-fiche" viewer that allowed you to index (row-column) the proper page and view it. This is all done electronically now. Microform

That's a start...
On the BMW side I have had excellent service through A & S Motorcycle Parts,Inc. or just A&S Cycle(BMW) out in Roseville,Ca. Great parts fiche access and quick reliable service.

I use Western Honda a lot, also partzilla.com. Both offer low prices on Honda oem, partzilla has better prices on shipping but it takes them about 5-7 days to process the order before shipping.
I would like to give my local Honda dealer in Houston, Bob Lunsford Honda my business but they charge retail plus 10%~20% and rarely stock the parts.
Online oem shopping is how I buy my Honda parts and when using Western Honda I probably suffer no more than a 2 day delay and I get front door delivery and, so far, don't have to pay 8.25 % sales tax.

+1 on Bob Lunsford's - Bought my first motocross bike from them - 1987 CR500R (one in my avatar).

ALL jap bikes KTM, Husky and some others, RMATV and Motorsport.com. Online schematics, parts list part numbers and availability.

Chaparral Motorsports is pretty quick to ship and no sales tax as of 12/2018.
Chapmoto.com

RMATV has moved from 2 day to 3 day shipping, although I ordered fork seals, oil and a fork cap tool before noon on Friday and had it at my door on Monday.

I second rockymountainatvmc.com

Prices are good on oem and other parts plus they support mx, sx and offroad racing

RMATV actually stocks parts where several of the others pretty much get everything from the factory warehouses. RMATV doesn't have everything, but they have a lot.

I ordered 9 items from Partzilla on 4/12. Everything showed to be in stock at that time. Hadn't heard anything as of 4/24 so I gave em a call. Rep said that nothing I had ordered was on back order but that they were behind on picking and shipping the orders. Looks like a LOT of folks are using the lockdown to work on their bikes. Just received an email stating that my order has shipped "2 day air", so hopefully it will be here sometime next week
