Two or three years ago I was in line at the tax assessor-collector office to register something. Guy in front of me was wearing a "I rode the twisted sisters" shirt, so I struck up a conversation. One of the first things he said was, "I never thought I'd pay $46,000 for a motorcycle." I don't remember all the details, but it included lots of Screaming Eagle this and thats.
 
I get beat up on resale of 10G bikes, can't imagine the beating on 45000.
 
You could buy two 3-4 year old same model bikes for that kind of price.

I spy grip mounting gear where the headlight used to rest, on the front down tube and behind the seat.
The subframe appears to be gusseted and the rear fender area boxed.
I see some sort of steering stabilizer, also

I also think that front tire is a bit over-sized ....

maybe all to carry the extra weight of a camera?

Yep. I took three years off. Southtex and jmz have made me feel old with 70-90 mile gravel rides. And I'm very young..
