I have a stripped down rolling frame from a camper. I was going to finish it out into a nice 3 bike hauler with a built on storage bin but I just dont need it since I already have a nicely finished 3 rail trailer.

The frame measures 78" wide & 11' long incl the rear bumper beam (10' w/o bumper). The axle center is 5' from rr bumper. Triangulated hitch tongue w 2" easy latch ball mount & jack. 44" from trailer frame to ball.

Supports for battery & propane bottles on tongue. Fold down adjustable jack stands in rear outer corners. 12" 4 lug wheels & ok tires (will need new tires before hauling cargo).

Wheels tires protrude above frame by about 6" ...width between tires 5' allowing room for 3 rails to fit some street bikes. The axle & hitch is rated at 3500lbs I think. It has a spec tag attached. TRAILER HAS NO TITLE. I WILL PROVIDE BILL OF SALE ONLY. $200

The trailer will need some kind of deck or rails ...or combo of both. I was gonna use 2x12 alum seating from stadium bleachers for less weight..... & a lighting kit... (which I can supply)

Being from a camper, make sure there are no numbers stamped in the frame, usually on the tongue section. Makes a difference when trying to register it.

I know you said you dont have a title but was it by chance registered in your name?

It wont need a title being under 4k lbs, the buyer will just need a bill of sale and a previous registration receipt.

I dont believe the previous registration receipt has to be in your name. They just need proof of previous registration.

I do not have any form of previous registration. The trailer was sold as scrap when it was still a camper. All the shell & interior was stripped & sold. Only the frame remains... & hast been sitting for years. I only have a bill of sale to provide.

Just register it as a home made trailer. Tell them it's a 1500lb axle and call it a day. (Maybe smooth out the vin plate)

This would be a good start for one of those micro homes on wheels. Or home made teardrop camper. Gets a guy with no time on his hands ideas.:deal:

Its not that easy anymore. "Homemade" trailers CAN be required to have a law enforcement inspection verifying there isnt/wasnt a VIN previously.

The headache and hoops involved with tracking down the info necessary to do it legally is gonna be cumbersome.
