Heading down the coast of Croatia with my Croatian cousin. I have a rented 1200 GS from Moto Tours and he has his Aprilia. 7 days planned with a stop this Saturday at a Harley Rally on the Coast. I hope to post some daily info and pics.

OK we have done over 600 miles in two days. First day some rain. Second day sunny and hot hitting 90 or better. We went over the mountains to the coast and to the city of Split. We spent the night in the coastal town of Makarska. Some pics attached.

Mountains and by the ocean . . .
I am envious!

I'm behind in posting but attached are a few more pictures. Headed south towards the island of Korcula, birth place of Marco Polo. On the way there passed an old stone wall structure. Sort of a Great wall of Croatia. I guess they were avoiding EU membership back than. Beer brake. I have pictures oriented correctly on my computer but the upload captures the original orientation. Not sure why.

:tab The orientation data is stored as part of the image. When you rotate them on your computer, the software you are using needs to also update that data. In most image programs there is usually a setting somewhere that lets you set that.

:tab Sure looks like pretty country!

More pictures from our ride on the Island of Korcula.

Ok. I gave up on these uploads and put together a short (12 min) clip. Ride took us to the Croatian coast followed by a ride from the coast to Mostar and Sarajevo Bosnia. And than back to Zagreb, Croatia and the BMW dealership.

Still in Croatia and rented a bike again for a week. Weather is amazing!. Blue skies 87 mostly during the day and cools off to 60's at night. Headed for Zadar and the islands of Pag, Ugljen, and Dugi Otok:rider:. Week 5 but unfortunately have to head back home next Saturday:doh:. Attached pictures are from the first day across the Mts to the coast. Rained up in the Mts. Stopped at a war museum.
