A few of the Over 60 TORCS guys plotting their next move, lol. We had 21 score at one point or the other this year. Probably 12 or so every race. Amazing for our age. Larry Gustine, not pictured won the class with one runner-up finish and winning all the rest. Most of the time he was overall winner or top five in the morning group. Impressive. Of course the really fast guys run in the afternoon, but we old farts still represent the gray hairs pretty good.

Somehow I think I ended up 2nd in class for year by ONE point over 3rd. Right down to the wire. Went into last race 1 point behind him. Good stuff.

I just turned 60 this past September and still ride almost every weekend

I raced the Blackjack enduro couple weeks ago at Callisburg and rode in the over 60 class for the first time - ha ha

Bunch of us though as I think there were 16 in my class

for sure

Yes sir, since Larry Falk passed and forest us closed more than open it's not as active. I post up every once and a while.

I think the notifications once a ride has been posted might have changed.... other wise we get a ok turn out for 3 Palms - Rio and the Sam Houston National Forrest. forest has been closed.... too wet.

Couple of years ago, Larry would post up a THURSDAY ride and have 12-15 guys show up. That doesn't happen anymore. The site definitely has less traffic and rides planned. Probably used more for planned workdays, although that is a good thing.

This seems like a good place to post rides too. Rio tomorrow? Nov 25. FYI 3 Palms is having a good race.

Good idea.

Wish I could ride Rio tomorrow but have to work. Weather permitting I will be there Wednesday.

Rio is closed .... let's plan on 3palms this Friday ... Nov 30th 2018.

Saw something about Rio on Facebook, what's up with them being closed?
Rio infoline
(281) 454-4440

Temp closure only
Too much recent rain, too cold, recent race tore it up so they need it to dry and then cover. Mostly family run so Thanksgiving probably has something to do with it also.
