2007 KTM 300XC - $2500 - Denton, TX
I have changed my trail bike to an XR400 with a plate, so time to let this one go.
Bike has been ridden and crashed, and has done a couple of harescrambles and 2 enduros since I've owned it.
I ride hard, but I don't pin it and hold it- i like the hard slow trails more than the wide open stuff. Bike has 75.5 hours on the hour meter I put on a couple months after I got it. No idea the hours before, but I checked the piston through the exhaust port and it looked new (and PO said he had just changed it). Starts easy hot and cold.
This is the last year prior to electric start, but I believe it also has a slightly lower seat height than the next generation bikes. The XC model has a close range transmission, so don't buy it to convert to street legal- it is awesome for trails and hate scramble/enduro, but not so much for gravel roads and such.
What you see is what you get, plus:
Brake master cylinder is a nissin from a Honda- I never got used to the feel of the Brembo it came with. I thought I still had the Brembo but cant locate it...
Seat is an enduro engineering seat. It makes the bike just a bit taller, but is way better for sit-down riding.
Not on the bike:
Fmf gnarly pipe, used, ugly welded crack repair that doesn't leak.
Big tank for enduros or racing where range is an issue. Stock tank should never be an issue on normal trail riding. Rubber gasket for the cap is shot on the big tank, should be able to replace or make one out of gasket material.
Various jets for the carb- I jetted it once and have left it alone since.
Spare front and rear sprocket
O rings for header/expansion chamber to cylinder junction (bought extras and haven't needed them)
Carb o rings- don't think it's a complete set. Bought so I'd have when needed and don't think I used any.
Asking $2500, pretty firm at this time. Title in hand, in my name (off highway only).
Might trade for 2 rail or utility Kendon style trailer (not Harbor Freight folding type).
