....After reading about the Veskimo here I finally bought one.
WOW!!!!!
It works!
I rode all day in 95 degree, high humidity along the Texas/Louisiana border in a blazing sun.
I wore a set of LD Comfort long johns and longs sleeve shirt under the Veskimo, an Aerostich microfiber shirt and pants over that, and a one piece Roadcrafter on top of that.
I rode four hours with the Roadcrafter completely sealed up and the Eskimo kept me comfy and fresh.
I then rode with the sleeves open and the underarm vents open and I could feel the evaporative cooling from the LD Comfort shirt in addition to the Eskimo cooling. Wow, the LD Comfort gear actually works.
I bought a "Polar Bear" cooler and the block ice was still a grapefruit sized block of ice after two hours in the 95 dgreee heat.
So, to sum up, Eskimo and LD Comfort gear works great with a Roadcrafter.
Next, I will try them with my new Transit Suit.
Cheers.
