My light has been flashing at 160-170 miles but never takes more than 4 gallons. Are all 5 gallons usable?

well, there's one way to find out!
just remember to have a chaise vehicle with gas or carry extra gas with you.generally Suzuki is pretty good at engineering their fuel tanks, on my SV1K, when the light comes on there is just a gallon left. I have never run it all the way out but I have run 3/4 of that gallon out.
on my Honda CRF250L the fuel pump picked up all but about a ounce of gas.
running them all the way out is a good way to kill the pump, they are cooled and lubricated by the gas flowing through them.
A lot of people here fill up with 4.5-4.8ish gallons very often?
