Glad I saw this post! Sounds great. I was just planning a couple of days riding the Lone Star Loop starting Sunday, and it goes through Bandera. i was going to ride from Llano south, but I will plan on eating with you guys, and then keep heading north.

It is quite chilly and very rainy here in Johnson City right now...

Rode down from Belton and staying at a cool little place named “A Place to Stay” close to the Old Spanish Trail Restaurant. It was a chilly, rainy 3 hour ride on a KLR- but it is all part of the adventure! Looking forward to tomorrow.

Hmmmm, date change? Didn't get the update; there were three of us there this morning (12/16/17), great ride all the way there, a bit chilly but the "just right" breakfast was quite good and the coffee was hot.

On the wet, cold ride to Bandera I was hoping no one would show up so I could go home, dry out and get warm. Plus I hurt my back imitating a plumber yesterday.
But 8 hardcore riders showed and 5 went on the ride. The further north we rode the warmer and drier it got, Good safe day. And someone showed up a beautiful new smartly modded KTM!
