Smile Moto Liberty News

As many of you know, I (Nathan) created and ran the Moto Liberty location in San Antonio for the past 5 years. At the end of last summer I sold that location and moved back to Dallas in order to spend a little more time with the kids while they are young, and get the family back to Dallas, where we feel we belong at this stage of life. Don't get me wrong, I grew up in San Antonio, and have much love for my hometown, too. It was just the right move for us, personally, to be in Dallas.

The new owners of Moto Liberty San Antonio have now decided to take a little different direction with that store, specifically with the launching of their own website. That location is now going to be called Gear Authority. While they wonít be a Moto Liberty any longer, the split is completely amicable, and we will still work closely with them in a number of areas, including supplying RS Taichi products. I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish Chad, Cade, and Miguel the best of luck and, on a personal note, thank them for taking care of my baby. They have a vision for the future of where they want to take it, and I think theyíve got a great shot at doing big things with it. So, itís back to just the one original DFW Moto Liberty location (for now). If you are in the San Antonio area, give the new owners a shot! If you are in North Texas, you know where to find the Best Motorcycle Gear Store in Texas, the original - MOTO LIBERTY! As for my personal friends who wonder what Iím doing now, you can still find me at Moto Liberty in Dallas. But now, I manage RS Taichi distribution for the US. Iíve been a big fan and proponent of the brand for a long time, and this opportunity lets me help them grow into the powerhouse, mainstream brand that their quality and style merits. Look for big things from both Moto Liberty and RS Taichi in the future!

Big fan of Moto Liberty. Audrey helped me get "suited up" for my return to motorcycle riding after 26 years. You guys are great. Joseph has been a big help too.

Re: Moto Liberty News

Congrats Nathan!

Finally stopped in @ GA today...glad too see everyone come away with it smoothly. Too many 'bad stories' out there from other such departures almost every day.

Glad to keep my funds 'locally' than elsewhere too. Anyhow, good luck, ride safe & 'til next time...

Quoted for awesomeness. I Love those big KTM Twins.

Moto Liberty Dallas has always been good to me so I hope the San Antonio location flourishes with their new business plan.

One of the employees there worked for what seemed like hours finding a pair of pants that fit me right. Talk about great service.

Sent from my HTC using magic.

Re: Moto Liberty News

Is Moto liberty still contesting the TMGP? I still remember that time in my life, big grins.

One or two of our employees still do. At one time or another almost all of us have dabbled with the track.
