This is a sneak peak of a private collection called the Moto Armory where our season ending awards banquet is held. These people also own Springfield Armory (the gun manufacturer). They have NOS bikes in crates, restored bikes, and championship bikes from the 60s up. Quite possibly Mecca for dirt bike riders. They are in the early stages of setting up a museum, and it will be open to the public. They are just not ready yet.

A 1978 CR250 Elsinore was the first bike my dad bought me at 12 years old. I was too short, it was too tall, and I was terrified of it. We ended up ditching the dual shocks, rigged up an extra shock on one side from a newer CR250, and I rode it for almost 2 years. I paid 250 for it with a broke clutch cable and bad tires. I sold it for 500 bucks to my cousin after 2 years. It rotted away in a barn and was repoed when he moved out of his house after divorcing my blood cousin. I'm still mad about that almost 15 years late, because I told him I would give him the 500 bucks he paid me for it if he ever needed to let it go. He just left it at the house and never said a **** word about it.
