"25+ unlimited class. 8th out of 21 riders. 1.5 hour hare scramble. Only big bike there!"

Just don't see how, the course must be more open than around here. We do stuff I don't even think that bike could do. I wouldn't be proud to be the ones behind him.

I'm just an average rider at best, heck I'm 65 and I'd hate to lose my bike, BUT on the courses and places I ride I'd race him for a couple of bucks, just don't see it.

Not knocking the bike, GS, 1290, where would they have an advantage? TORCS does not run any roads, heck doesn't hardly ever go straight long enough to get in 4th. Even if he carries a good pace on flowing trails some of the drops, climbs or stupid tight stuff, you just lose too much time.

I wouldn't even dream of riding a big bike that hard! But i'd still race him at Cycleland in a heartbeat! lol But he's awesome for trying. They said when he finished couldn't even unscrew his drink!

No doubt he can ride the beast, but it's still a beast! lol

I rode my xr650l at emma long in austin, before i bent the frame. Even that bike was hard to ride out there. The guys on ktms, yzs and the like couldnt believe i could make the loop. Big bikes suck single trail, the guy has some talent. Probably could kill it on a yz250

Woodsguy I remember riding my XT500 Yamaha in the Thurber and Memphis enduro about 40 years ago. Didn't seem ridiculous at the time:lol2: and although I was tired I wasn't completely whipped. If you're gonna be dumb, you got to be tough:trust: The next year I got an IT250 and things got a lot easier:giveup:

I used to be riding my 950 thru the woods on the forest roads and see a single track , feeling good and making stupid decisions I would head down it and usually within a hundred feet or so I would remember why it was stupid then a few hundred more yards before I could get turned around and get back to normal . Riding the Beta pretty much broke me of the habit , there's no doubt in my mind anymore that a 500 lb bike will make a good dirt bike .

That's impressive on a big bike.

The last time I got to feeling froggy on the big bike. Man they fall quick...
