I bought mine about 5 months ago at the $179 price and it has worked pretty well. I had an issue with a broken battery terminal early on which John quickly repaired and had it back to me within a couple of days. The volume control is super handy when you have to chat with a riding buddy and need to kill the tunes or when the radar detector is going off full tilt!
