2000 Buell Blast Carb

Does anyone have any experience in Buell Blast Carbs? It seems to have a HD cv on it but is missing the accelerator pump cover. It does not appear to be ported, though. Is this just the way they are, with un used accelerator pumps on the carb for production ease?

Nah, just a few unsold leftovers to be auctioned off as novelties. I seem to remember Erik Buell made a comment that the Blast made a better end table than a motorcycle, or something to that effect.

Thank you RWhitehouse. It was hard to accept that. I mean, its missing parts.
We'll see how it turns out.
I may ride it a bit and send it on its way.

No doubt! I think it will stay here for a bit. Got the carb cleaned out and new bits on the way.
Im lookin forward to riding it a bit. Looks kinda fun...

You know, i also noticed there is no drain plug where the drain plug should be. They really did cut some corners on this thing.
