Re: Pie run VII:Texan cafe, Hutto 7/29

I'm tempted but the heat lately has been a little intense and my poor ginger soul doesn't like heat... Besides, I think this weekend is going to be spent finishing up the Hawk and giving it a test ride before I take select parts off for beautification.

NP. I have something over 6ft long for you and it won't fit on a bike. I'll have to bring it out sometime.

GG didn't take a truck up Pikes Peak last week. Mark I will leave house about 9:30 or 10:00 if you want to swing by.

Re: Pie run VII:Texan cafe, Hutto 7/29

I had planned to attend this, but as they say "so go the best laid plans of mice and men".
Went to the eye doctor a couple of weeks ago and was told it was time for to have the cataracts taken care of? Had the left eye done last Friday, and will have the right eye done tomorrow. So I won't be riding the bike for a few more days, although eye doctor said I could ride the next day. "She who must be obeyed" aka Ladyrider has decreed that I will not ride. Besides she said you have a post-op appointment on Saturday morning.
So you guys have fun, there is always next month.

It's not really the bike, it's what the bike lets you do.

My picture above is after 1,022 miles. All desert heat. One way. If my wife can do that, you can do 250.

Sorry I didn't RSVP before. I hadn't planned on being in the area. I'll most likely be there from New Braunfels
