All,

I did a swan about loop yesterday on my V7R Guzzi. Up to Hempstead, and Bellville and such looking for wild flowers. Found some gorgeous patches.

However, when I turned south on 36 towards Sugar Land, the winds were just crazy. Gusts up to maybe 40 mph? Blown about, Eolus--god of winds playing in a Texas spring I suppose. Normally I fly back on 36, but I could not handle the bucking. Turned off onto a FTM and took longer path back home. Guzzi actually tracks pretty well in winds, and yeah I have done this before, but not my favorite.

Wore me out, 150 miles, but half that just exhausting. Hoping for calmer weather tomorrow as I want to take the Triumph out.
