Probably a utility tunnel. Kept secret to prevent terrorism, ya know.

Well... won't be until the 2014 schedule is announced. I THINK they announce the follow year's schedule before the end of the current season... so I'd think we'd know the schedule sometime in the fall.

Re: Circuit of the Americas to host 2013 MotoGP

Good Grief! MotoGP is a baragain. Have you checked out the prices of any other events there? I had fun, thought maybe I'd check out another event like F1, but hoo boy, too rich for my blood!

MotoGP Calendar is usually posted end of November after the last race in Valencia.
You can access the calendar and follow the news on www.motogp.com

A true fan,, albeit the 'absence' of the one and only #34 KS has reduced my passion

Wow Troy... I hate to think what those tickets must have cost given the access you had to the pits and babes!

Lies are fragile. They require constant attentiveness to keep them alive. The exposure of a single truth can rip through an ocean of lies, evaporating it instantly. - Brandon Smith

If you want government to intervene domestically, you’re a liberal. If you want government to intervene overseas, you’re a conservative. If you want government to intervene everywhere, you’re a moderate. If you don’t want government to intervene anywhere, you’re an extremist. — Joe Sobran

It is no crime to be ignorant of economics, which is, after all, a specialized discipline and one that most people consider to be a ‘dismal science.' But it is totally irresponsible to have a loud and vociferous opinion on economic subjects while remaining in this state of ignorance. – Murray N. Rothbard

Where politicians flourish, long history has harshly taught us, people and their liberty wither. Where the state is god and the "public interest" worshipped, individual man will be found bleeding upon the altar. - Karl Hess

The accepted wisdom is that without the state, society would collapse into lawlessness and crime. In fact, lawlessness and crime define the very nature of the state and the society organized by it. - Bionic Mosquito

But the myth of the rule of law does more than render the people submissive to state authority; it also turns them into the state's accomplices in the exercise of its power. For people who would ordinarily consider it a great evil to deprive individuals of their rights or oppress politically powerless minority groups will respond with patriotic fervor when these same actions are described as upholding the rule of law. - John Hasnas

The "secret" entrance is not a public entrance. It isn't much of a secret either.

Scott, I feel very fortunate that my friend invited me. And we both feel fortunate that his friend provided the tickets to us for free. The additional vip pass that was provided to us for free was totally unanticipated. I probably ventured into some areas that I was unauthorized to go, but strangely the crews did not even blink an eye. I have no idea what those tickets and passes really cost, but for me it was once of those experiences that was priceless.

Re: Circuit of the Americas to host 2013 MotoGP

This was my first and I really enjoyed the weekend. The BBQ on Friday was a nice kickoff, spent Saturday night with other forum members on 6th street and ran into guys I haven't seen in years.
I had seats in the Honda section and that included one lap on the track. That was fun.
I ate a big breakfast every morning and 2 bottles of water kept me happy until evening.
Something that I found amazing about the weekend.

With the thousands of sport, sport/touring bikes in Austin for the race I did not see one single burnout, wheelie, or stunt. I never even saw a bike pulled over by the police. It was a great crowd to be a part of.
