1996 Honda XR400r - $1750
I purchased this bike last November with grand plans in mind. Part of those plans did NOT include a change at work that has me working every weekend on a compresses shift that just does not allow me the time to enjoy it.
1996 Honda XR400r. This will be a bill of sale only. I just haven't taken the time to mess with getting a title or trying to dual-sport it like I had planned. So, on the block she goes. I've had this bike out to Hidden Falls once (no drops The bike is mechanically stock with these farkles: *New Mikuni Pumper Carb *Clarke over-sized tank *Renthal Fat Bars *TAG bar clamps *Sunstar Works Z Sprocket *Moose brush guards *IMS pegs *New grips *1.25" bar risers Included in this sale: *2 stock carbs 1 fully operational and 1 for parts (the rod for the butterfly is tweaked) *Brand new, never installed Moose Fatbar CR-HI (black) *White Bros E-series muffler and mid-pipe (needs repack) The White Bros muffler was on the bike at purchase but was SOOO loud, I replaced it with a stock muffler in excellent shape with the fire arrestor installed. The previous owner said he bought the bike from the original owner who used it as a ranch bike. ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Forgot to mention I installed a new NGK plug when I installed the Mikuni pumper and replaced the 3 bolts for the air boot between the carb and head.

PM replied.
I love the bike but after realizing I've had it for a year and I've straddled it twice........I just hate to see it waste away in my garage.

I had a 96 here on the ranch with the mukuni pumper but the purple fork gaiters were deleted, great all round bikes.

Re: 1996 Honda XR400r - $1750
Eh, this one didn't have the pumper when I bought it. It had a stock carb and the choke lever was broken. The PO was using pliers to open/close the choke which ended up tweaking the rod that actuates the butterfly.
I bought a second used carb in excellent condition from a forum member who stripped it down and cleaned it for me. Then I bought some jets to try out different settings. Being the impatient fool I am, I got tired of fiddling with the air screw and plopped $400 on the pumper. After that was installed...... . Ran like a scalded ape!

Just a friendly reminder that she's still available if anyone's looking for a fun, mid-size dirt bike since the weather's cooling off, making for some great trail riding.
